In a lengthy piece on “The Future of Jobs“, the Economist cites some estimates of the risk that IT will eliminate jobs over the next 20 years:

So Keynes was right: Economists should aspire to be like dentists.

  1. Money may give temporary illusion of independence but if you are more attentive you will notice that it is wrong. Internet-based company may bring you much money today but what will happen in future? More and more people engage in IT but who will bake bread and build ships?
