My favorite part? The concluding lines:

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.

    1. Hi Jim – That’s an innovative interpretation of the closing words of the Declaration!. Not what I had in mind, but your mileage may vary.

  1. I confess, I couldn’t make it through. That was some terrible reading of a glorious document. That passionless monotone may work well for informing people of news and pretending to not have a bias about it, but it fails abjectly when honoring something for which people would pledge their lives and sacred honor.
