While a mild recovery did look like it was on the cards early in the summer, it now seems that jobs are still being lost at a sigificant rate, in year-on-year terms. In total, 7.3 million private sector jobs have been lost in the last two years. (Or is it eight million? Donal Marron discusses the difference between the estimates.) [...]
